Hismouthshutlikeaboxwhenhehadsaidthis,asilecavethefeltthattheywouldospeakagain。Thebarefeetofthegnomes,paddingonthedeepmoss,madenosound。Therewasnowind,therewerenobirds,therewasnosouherewasnosfrebeasts。

&heyhadwalkedforseveralmiles,theycametoawallofroitalowarchwayleadingintoanother。Itwasnot,however,sobadasthelastentrandJillcouldghitwithoutbendibroughtthemintoasmallergandnarrow,abouttheshapeahedral。Andhere,fillingalmostthewholelengthofit,layanenormousmanfastasleep。Hewasfarbiggerthanas,andhisfaotlikeagiant's,butnobleaiful。Hisbreastrosealyuhesnowybeardwhitotheure,silverlight(noo)resteduponhim。
